First meeting held in The Old Sun Inn, Eaton Socon on 17 September. 18 members.

Club Standards set up by George Bettis (commenced 1 Jan).

1st team prize in Folksworth 15

Club Championship introduced. 7 from 9 selected races, scoring points for position in the Championship.
Andy Phillips (Club Coach) wins Swavesey Half Marathon.
Club Member George Bettis takes the Best British Marathon title for age group 50-55 in 2 hrs 41mins 13 secs.
20 ran in London Marathon.
1st team prize in Sawtry 10K – third successive year.
1st Mens & Ladies team prize in Swavesey Half Marathon.
1st Ladies team, 2nd Men's team in Cromwell Half Marathon.

Championship results were age graded for the first time. In Eric Foxley, this produced a Club Champion who was a senior citizen.

Four members selected for Cambridge in the Inter Counties Cross-Country Championship.
